Overview
Creative Olsen collaborated with the communications team at Valmont Industries to produce a historical brand video highlighting the company’s journey from its founding to its global impact today. Using archival footage, historical photography, and existing brand assets provided by Valmont’s marketing team, our role focused entirely on post-production — shaping the narrative, pacing, and visual continuity of the piece. The goal was to craft a compelling story that honored Valmont’s legacy while presenting the brand in a modern and engaging format.
Creative Direction
With a wide range of archival and corporate assets to work with, the Creative Olsen team focused on building a cohesive visual narrative that felt both historical and forward-looking. The edit emphasized strong pacing, thoughtful transitions, and intentional storytelling to connect Valmont’s early entrepreneurial roots with its present-day global influence. Careful attention was given to maintaining brand consistency while enhancing the emotional impact of the story through music, timing, and visual rhythm. Despite working exclusively with provided assets, the goal was to ensure the final piece felt original, polished, and cinematic.
Results
The final video successfully tells the story of Valmont’s growth from a startup to an internationally recognized infrastructure and irrigation leader. Delivered within a tight timeline, the project demonstrates how strategic editing and strong storytelling can elevate existing assets into a compelling brand narrative. The finished piece provides Valmont with a powerful historical overview that can be used across internal communications, brand storytelling, and corporate presentations.
