It's kind of crazy to say this, but Creative Olsen is officially 12 years old.

What started in 2013 with a camera and a love for creating has grown into something bigger than we ever imagined.

Over the years, we've grown our team, traveled all over the country and worked on projects that have taken us into some pretty incredible places. We've filmed inside aircraft hangars, manufacturing facilities, hospitals, farms, corporate headquarters, universities and plenty of places we never thought we'd find ourselves when this all started.

We've worked with small businesses, national brands, state organizations and Fortune 500 companies. We've photographed incredible people, flown drones in some amazing places and had the opportunity to hear and tell stories that have stuck with us long after the cameras were packed away.

And somewhere along the way, Creative Olsen became a lot more than just a production company.

It became a team of people who genuinely love what we do and care about the people we get to do it with.

A lot has changed in 12 years. The cameras are better. The gear is better. Our crew has grown. The productions have gotten bigger, and we've definitely learned a few things along the way.

But the heart of Creative Olsen really hasn't changed.

People connect with people.

That's always been at the center of the work we create.

We don't want to manufacture a story or make something feel like a commercial just for the sake of making a commercial. We want to find the real story, the real emotion and the people behind it.

Because that's the stuff people actually remember.

And while we're incredibly proud of the work we've created over the years, we're even more proud of the relationships that have come from it.

Some of our clients have been with us for years. They call us when they have a new idea, bring us into conversations early and trust us to help figure out the best way to tell their story.

That's something we don't take lightly.

We've always believed that the experience of working with Creative Olsen should be just as good as the final product. We want to feel like part of your team. We want shoots to be fun. We want the process to feel collaborative. And when everything is finished, we want everyone involved to be genuinely excited about what we created together.

So... What's Next?

Kansas City.

Over the last several years, we've found ourselves spending more and more time working throughout the Midwest, and Kansas City kept feeling like a natural place for Creative Olsen to grow.

So we're doing exactly that.

We're continuing to build our presence in Kansas City, meet new people and develop relationships with the businesses and organizations that make the city what it is.

But we're not trying to just put a pin on a map and say we have another market.

We want to actually be part of it.

We want to meet great people, grab coffee, hear about what they're building and find opportunities to create something awesome together.

That's how Creative Olsen grew in the first place, and we don't see any reason to change that now.

12 Years Later

When we look back at the last 12 years, there are obviously projects we're incredibly proud of.

But there are also a lot of memories.

Early mornings. Late nights. Flights. Road trips. Ridiculous amounts of gear. Long shoot days. Great interviews. Plenty of laughs. Problem-solving on the fly. And that feeling when you're standing behind the monitor and realize you just captured something really special.

That's the part of this we love.

We're incredibly thankful for every person who has trusted us with their story, referred us to someone else, brought us back for another project or simply supported Creative Olsen along the way.

And we're especially thankful for the team behind Creative Olsen who continues to care deeply about every project and every client who walks through our doors.

Twelve years in, we're still excited to pick up a camera.

We're still excited when a new project comes through.

We're still obsessed with making the next one better than the last.

And we're still having a hell of a lot of fun doing it.
